On March 10th, Sunday’s Child Foundation sponsored an effort to unite the Waimea community and its extended ohana in helping abused children. This call to action was in response to the death of three-year-old Marley Makanani and the revelation of the abuse of her siblings. The focus of the meeting was to find proactive solutions to the chain of abuse in the family, and in particular, to our children.
